Isha was dragged forward, crashing into cold walls from the lack of visibility and constantly loosing her footing as they pulled the chains that connected to her hands, neck and feet. They really had overdone it, using chains to hold her arms in place in the shape of an 'X' in front of her chest, some old stinking fabric covered her head and more chains between her feet. Honestly, the girl could barely move never mind walk, especially at the speed in which they pulled the chains connected to her body.
She had no hopes of getting away from this. For starters, there was no proof that she had not killed all those men. Ugh! Just the memory of it made her sick all over again. She only wished she could remember, it was only fair considering that she was to be punished for it. The gods had not been kind to her. She had awaken in the middle of a blood bath, covered in blood that by the way, was still covering her clothes and skin, and had absolutely no memory of who she was and what she was doing in that place.
All she had was a note in her pocket with one sentence, ONE STUPID SENTENCE! She groaned hitting yet another wall, suspecting that her 'guide', for lack of a better word, was doing this on purpose. "Stupid people" She groaned, standing up was a lot easier when you were not chained to look like a mummy. All she wanted was to be done with it, yes, just kill me already.
Isha had tried for the life of her to remember anything but kept coming up with nothing, not a single memory. and yet the note refuse to be forgotten, not that it was of any use. 'Dear Isha, be careful.' Too late for that now. She tried not to laugh at the irony.
She stopped feeling the breeze of fresh air, there were people talking now, so many it was hard to understand what they were saying. She remained quiet, not really knowing how to act or what to do. What did people do when they were about to be executed? Run away? Beg for mercy? She had tried both and failed miserably. But even if she had succeeded, she had nowhere to go and no money. Nothing but a name. Isha.
