To the stables, and more

Ariegn had been volunteered to go with Sythril to the stable to help check on her colt. Not that he minded of course. It gave them alone time. After holding the door for Sythril and watching her walk out, he walked up next to her and made a scan, to make sure no one was around. There probbly was, but he was ready to take on men who intented to give them trouble. Motioning to the right, he smiled. "This way if you don't mind, milady," he said kindly. "I must say, I admire you, for dealing with suck an extreme personailty like Calliah. You are of royalty, no?" he questioned her, still keeping an eye out, though intent to listen to he woman talk. She had a nice voice and a beautiful face to match.

Together, Syth and Ariegn made their way to the stables. She was more than capeable to look after herself when it came to ruffians as all she needed to do was show her pointed ears and they'd run in the opposite direction. He was keeping an eye out though, which was sweet.

When he asked if she were royalty, she decided to be a little playful.

"What gives you that idea mi'lord?" she asked, twirling on the spot as a smile broke out across her face.

"For all you know I'm just inbred."

Ariegn was a bit taken aback as the girl began to act playful. Not that he minded, but she did have a point. He had no idea if she was royal or not, but she figured she must have been. Not only from slight hints in her story, she just had an air about her that screamed it. "Well I may not know, but I think you are a princess, even if you were inbred," he mused with a cheeky grin.

Sythril laughed and entered the barn, she all but floated to it with the Elven grace. She looked over her shoulder and smirked at him. "Well, my friend you guessed right." she laughed quietly before looking at her horse. Normally he'd walk over to her and greet her, tonight he was at the back of his stall.

Letting herself in, she spoke calming Elven words and stood beside his neck. Before she even touched him she could see the sweat covering his coat and a shiver shaking his beautiful body.

"I need blankets, the herbal remedy with chamomile in it and warm mushed up oats and honey." she said quietly, grabbing a brush and brushing out his coat gently. He was black but glistening in the moonlight that was coming through the open window.

Ariegn walked into the barn with Sythril, and watched her walk over to her horse. She had an utmost grace to her that was hard not to like, but he felt bed as he could tell that the horse was not well. He had began to wonder what he could do, and all too soon did the elf ask if he could get a few things.

Doing so and fetching the requsted items, he came back to where she was and the colt's stall and held them out for her to take when she needed. "He will be alright, right?" he questioned her sincerely concerned for her horse.

"He'll be fine, he's just tired and in need of some TLC."she said as she took the blankets, placing them on her horse and making him all snuggly. She tipped her finger in the warm mash and licked her finger.

"Good texture, it tastes good enough for me to eat." she chuckled and put more on her finger, slipping her honey covered finger into the side of the horse's mouth, she rubbed the food on his tongue. The young horse rolled the honey over his tongue and looked at her expectantly for more. Producing the bran mash he dug into it with gusto.

"And a bit of a sore tummy, he drank too quickly when we were down at the river and hasn't eaten because of it. I'll need to keep an eye on him all night." she said, patting her horse on the neck after he finished his meal. She exited the stall and stood beside Ariegn, who was still looking at the horse.

Ariegn nodded. Well he was glad the horse would be fine. He couldn't possibly do anything for the woman if the horse was worse. He watched her tend to the animal with passion and care and he couldn't help but smile. She was a nurturer, as he could tell from with Garion's daughter to this colt.

He kept an eye on the animal before drifting his eyes back to Sythril who was now standing next to him. "Well he as someone wonderful looking after him. He will be fine in no time with your care," he complimented. Seemed like that was all he said to the woman. A nice compliment. Though he fiured she wouldn't mind all that much. Of course she must have gotten many compliments that he could be gong overboard too.

Ohh, he hoped he hadn't.

"Don't be offended but I communicate with animals more than humans, elf or midgit." she chuckled, running her fingers along the wooden rail of the stall. She watched as her horse took a cautious sip of water from his water bucket, Sythril leaned over and placed her chin on her hands.

"It's just sometimes they understand me more than anyone else."

Ariegn shook his head. "No offense taken," he said kindly as he listened to her talk more. "Perhaps you haven't met the right people to understand you..." he added as he gently pushed a few strands behind her ear. He was sensetive and kind and was willing to give her a listening ear if she wanted it. Though it made him wonder if Calliah was one whom didn't understand her the way she thought.

"Don't get me wrong," she mused, smiling as he brushed a few strands of her hair out of her eyes. "Calliah is my best friend, my sister, protector and enemy. When we don't agree on something or we fight for hours.. Sometimes even days, we always end up coming back together." she smiled at him fully, her eyes shining in the low candle light.

"You're a kind man, your actions and your words speak that but I can't help but feel you have a sad past..." she said, turning her whole body to his and searching his eyes more carefully as if she could guess it.

Ariegn smiled gently back as she spoke of her connection with Calliah. "It must be comforting to know she will always be there for you, even if things are rocky," he mused with sincerety. He looked away a bit as she mentioned the he looked like he had a sad life. He hardly thought that it was remotely noticeable, but the again, elves caught things most humsna wouldn't. "Yes... But it's not worth dwelling on," he said as he caressed her cheek.

Sythril felt her eyes flutter closed as his fingers gently caressed her cheek, it had been a while since she had let someone get so close to her but it was something about Ariegn that made her trust him. The story in his eyes was meant to be told later, not now.

She hummed quietly under her breath, barely audible that would make humans think twice if it was the wind or not. "When you're ready.." she breathed, still enjoying his touch. She was quite short compared to him, she stood at a solid 5"6' without wearing heeled boots on the best of days.

Ariegn smiled gently as he watched her react to her touch. Though as much as he felt that invading personal space was not the best thing, there was something about Sythril that mde him want to get close to her as best he could.

His head dipped in a nod, before plcing the faintest kiss against her cheek. "I am ready.." he breathed slowly, his face close to hers, and his hand not leaving the spot it had been caressing before.

Sythril held her breath as he leaned over and placed a tender kiss on her cheek, she had had many men trying to court her over the years and convince her to give them her heart but she had polietly refused. What was Ariegn doing to her? What about her fleeting feelings for Emrys? Whom she still had not seen all day, where was that man?

"Ready for what?..." she whispered back playfully, the double innuendo clearly there. Her eyes still closed as his hand caressed her cheek, her heart pounding loudly in her ears. There was a small breeze coming from the open barn door and made her hair move with it. If she turned her head slightly, their lips would meet. Could she give this man, this human her first kiss?

Ariegn noticed her breath stop short, and he couldn't help but do the same thing after the kiss was placed against her smooth skin. It was intriguing to him of what she was doing to him, but oddly, he liked. Women were hardly his forte, but something about Sythril made him want her.

"So many things, which would you like to play with..." he whispered back with a playful tone. He didn't want to continue, unless she wished to. He was not going to pressure her into something she didn't not want.

Sythril had heard many fairytales of women being kissed, how their breaths would stop short and their hearts would soar.. would her's do that? She was old enough to seperate fact from fiction but for once, she didn't want to. She was willingly in the arms of a man whom she had just met, who was considerably younger than her but was everything the elven men weren't.

She didn't want to hurt him, she suddenly realized. If this got too serious, she didn't want to give up her immortality but she'd also watch him age and die. Deciding that the now was more important than the future, she decided to let herself go with the flow. She hoped that Calliah wouldn't randomly pop up out of no where and claim this dashing young man for herself. Though they had shared many things, including men over time... she just wanted to try something for herself. Calli would understand and would probably be dancing on the spot once the bond the elders spoke about sprung to life.

The legend was that two girls were born on the same day, at the same time. They'd become family, share their blood and become bonded. They could feel each other's emotions, see each other's memories and communicate in ways that weren't describable.

Calliah and Sythril had shared the blood, but nothing happened. There was always hope, to be like twins but until it happened... Sythril was happy being single, so to say.

"I have too many to choose from," she replied, her eyes half opening and staring into his eyes. "Why don't you show me something..." she suggested, a smirk settled upon her pink lips.

Ariegn looked into her beautiful eyes and a grin snuck across his lips. Beauty had attracted him many times before, but not so much as he would allow his skin to linger with anothers. Yes, he had been with a woman, but none as beautiful as her, if they were to, in fact, be together this night.

"Very well," he spoke a bit breathlessly before pressing his lips against her in a tender manner. He had no intention of showing her a poor time, let alone that all he wanted was the sex and throw her out once it was done. Yes, he thought of the immortality point between them, but honetly, right now, he was here, in this moment, with her, and he wanted to make that last, even if nothing was between them.

Sythril inwardly gasped as he pressed his lips against hers, her eyes shut and her heart seemed to soar. Stupid fairytales were not a lie. Instinctively, her hands creeped up behind his neck and played with his hair. She took a step forward, hesitantly as her body seemed to beg her to be closer against his. She felt his warmth, her body molding against his.

She took a quiet breath through her nose, not too sure on what to do next.

Ariegn took in a deep breath as he kissed her. The feeling was familiar yet had more to it. He was not sure what made the kiss better, but he wasn't about to question it. As she grew closer, he wrapped his arms around her body more. He could feel her against him and the heat that was slowly progressing, and he lifted her gracefully, wraping her legs around his waist as he gently pressed her back against the barn wall.

He wasn't sure if she wanted to take this slow or fast, but the position allowed them to go either way.

Sythril actually gasped as he picked her up and wrapped her legs around his waist, he pressed her against the barn wall and felt a warmth seep through her body. It was exhilarating, her mind was spinning and they hadn't done much yet. What was with this human!?

"I'm not going to sleep with you tonight, as it's something sacred and should only be shared in the right moment.... but I'm willing to try other things." she said as she pulled away, whispering into his ear and running her tongue along the outside of it teasingly.

She kissed along his jaw, to the corner of his mouth as her eyes questioned him for his opinion.

Ariegn smirked as she told him that she had no intention of sleeping with him. Not that he minded, if she was willing or not, then he was here. "Oh? Other things? Perhaps you should show me what you mean by that," he stated teasingly as he placed another kisse to her lips.

Sythril blushed deeply, not fully sure on how to continue still. She was a virgin in all aspects, not having dabbled in this particular art before. She unhooked her legs and turned away from him, feeling too embarrassed to say anything.

"I can talk the talk but can't walk the walk," she whispered, feeling ashamed of herself. 400 years old and she was still a child.

Ariegn lifted his brow in concern as Sythril pulled away from him. As she explained, he placed his hand on her shoulder in a comforting manner. "Don't feel embarassed," he told her with sincerity. "Look, if you are not up for anything more, then we can stop."

Not like he really wanted to, but if she was far too uncomfortable, then they were free to walk their seperate ways.
