Calliah had been riding her horse, Anders, with Sythril on her colt, and Emrys on his palomino headed to Buckland. A couple days journey, only being they had stopped quite a few times, and most were on account that Anders had thrown her off, and in some not so easy to get out of situations. The horse seriously had it against her, and she had no idea why.

Looking up to the sky, she turned back to Sythril and Emrys, wary if her horse intended to do something whilst she was not paying attention to him, and waved to the two elves. "It's getting late! We should camp soon," she advised. Not only had she been growing a bit hungry, she was tired and sore, and really needed a good wash.

"Stop thinking about shampoo!" Sythril replied, laughing merrily and asking her colt to canter to catch up, Calliah's horse was giving her a few problems and had wanted to know why. At the docks, when she had selected the animals she didn't know the other woman's horse would prove to be difficult. Deciding to have some fun, she turned her horse off the dirt rode and to the side where logs had fallen and created the perfect jumps.

Talking quietly and encouragingly to her horse, she felt his tense muscles. Speaking soft, elvish words she settled him and they sailed over the fallen trees. She rounded up behind Emrys and pulled back to a walk, no sweat was on her brow but her eyes were glistening.

"How did you know to take the back road?" she asked, her eyes dancing around the surroundings. She heard a yelp and looked towards Calliah, the horse had dumped her on the ground again and was galloping off. "ANDERS!" Sythril called, scolding the horse and her colt leapt into a flat out gallop. Whizzing past the furiously muttering Calliah, she rounded up the horse once more and decided it was time to have a bit of a ride. Quickly changing horses without touching the ground, she ponied the colt back to Calliah so she could ride him.

"Why are you misbehaving?" Sythril muttered to herself, cantering the horse up the road away from the other two. Her focus was totally on the horse, feeling the way it moved and almost how it thought. Suddenly, Anders went to drop his head and lift his rump up when Sythril caught it early. Pulling his head up and to the side, the horse didn't have enough leverage to buck and merely pigrooted.

"In all my four hundred years, you like to test riders. Let's see what you got..." she said, digging her heels into the horse's sides and the horse began to buck. Keeping her heels down, her weight thrown back in the saddle, Sythril rode the bucking horse until it gave up.

"Was that so hard?" she asked, trotting the horse in a lazy circle on each rein before asking for a halt. The horse was suddenly responding, knowing who it's rider and boss was. Leaning foward slightly, Sythril asked the horse to trot on. Without using her legs, her voice or her hands... the young horse did as it was asked.

Calliah yelped as she was thrown to the grown once again. She was getting tired of it. Elf or not, she was awful riding the creatures, she was so much better on foot. Mumbling in furiousness, she felt Sythril zip past her with Colt in attempt to get Ander back.

She wondered if it had just been her, but when Sy had brought Colt to her to ride and dashed ahead of her and Emrys, she assumed that he was giving her trouble to as she watched in the distance.

Patting Colt on the head, she didn't assume in riding him. Not that she didn't want to, but that she figured it would be good if she walked for a bit. Managing to see Sythril get the horse to obey her, she sighed. Yep, she was bad with horses. Hooking her boot into the saddle, she straddled Colt.

Catching up to Sythril, she smiled, and told Colt to gallop when she was close. "Horse guru," she snickered, picking a twig out of her hair and sighing.

Sythril turned back to watch Emrys watch on in quiet amusement, she nodded her head in his direction and he returned it. More of a quiet fellow than anything. Ander attempted to catch Sythril unaware, trying to lash out at Colt or Emrys' stallion. Growling at Ander, the horse froze on the spot and wondered why his rider was making such a terrifying noise.

"Colt's good, he's about 2 or 3... a baby compared to Ander, your horse is about 4 or 5 I'd say. Though he wasn't taught manners before he got the snip." she mused, pulling his head up to stop him from attempting another buck.

"Why can't you behave like Emrys' horse?" she grouched as he chomped on the bit, jogging on the spot. Growling again, Sythril asked him to halt and back up a few steps before standing still.

"Stand up," she growled, turning him in a tight circle on both leads before walking beside Emrys again. "You're a great rider, Calliah, you just haven't learned how to control those with not such a nice temper. Daddy sort of shielded you from that, buying you the white ponies with a pink blanket." she teased, poking her tongue out at the other female.

((OOC: EMRYS.... We only GM-d you, keeping you quiet mostly. You better have one heckers long post...<3))
